Angie is the President and founder of Lifesavers: Skylyr's Passion Rescue. She lives in Northeast Texas with her 4 dogs and very supportive soulmate, David. She named the rescue after her first female Great Pyrenees, Skylyr. She founded the rescue because she wanted to work with dogs and make a difference in life of discarded, unwanted dogs, which is so often the case for dogs in the southern US.

Kate is the Founder of Lifesavers: Skylyr's Passion Rescue North and Adoption/Foster Coordinator for both New England and Texas. She lives in Claremont, NH with her husband, two children and two dogs. Kate became involved with rescue in 2004 when she fostered her first dog and has since opened her home and heart to hundreds of foster dogs over the years. She is passionate about dog rescue and enjoys helping dogs find their forever homes. Kate and Angie started rescuing dogs together in 2014. They have built a strong partnership saving dogs from the south and finding them homes in the north.
